Triangle T Outfitters was established in 1983 by Ed Tibljas, as a specialized guide service. In the beginning T.T.O. conducted pack hunts on horse back into wilderness areas of the San Juan Mountains of Colorado for elk, mule deer and bear. Ed has been a licensed outfitter and guide since 1966. He has guided in New Mexico , Arizona , Colorado , Kansas , Wyoming , Montana , Alaska , Texas , Idaho and Nebraska . Ed now specializes in taking hunters to Central America, South America, Africa, Russia and Australia . These are just a few countries Ed travels to. All of our hunts here at T.T.O. are 1 st Class and only set up with proven outfitters in proven areas with personal first hand experience. Ed will personally accompany you on many of the hunts.

In country, we only take a limited number of hunters each year. When we are booked that is all for the year, there is no over booking. T.T.O. has over 300,000 acres of private land under lease exclusive only to T.T.O. In Texas we hunt trophy whitetail deer and have a high 87% average over the last 5 years on bucks that score 140 Boone Crockett and better. What is even better is that we do not just go out hunting to kill a deer. We strive to take 3 ½ year old bucks or older. We manage our properties accordingly. We feed protein and corn year around and all of out ranches are in areas where genetics on big deer are proven and have produced book deer. If you can sit for extended periods of time and are a good hunter you have a tremendous chance of killing the deer of a lifetime. We will do all of your homework for you. If a T.T.O. guide places you at a stand it is not by chance. We know the bucks that live in the area from past seasons and present season scouting. We do not, I repeat do not, over hunt our properties. We like to harvest only one buck per 1,000 acres in most of our country. Our properties are vast tracts of land with even larger tracts joining us with little or no hunting on the adjoining land. Trophy deer do not come easy, however we will put the advantage on your side due to the knowledge of the pre-scouting, genetics, food plots, area, management, hard work and time spent in the field. We apply all of our techniques, knowledge and scouting methods to your hunt and it is as if you have been out in the field all year. The rest is up to you and God.

Exotics are managed much like our deer and we hunt only trophy quality animals; with the exception of boar. The population of boar has to continuously be controlled. Here are just a few of the exotics we have available; free range blackbuck antelope, barbary sheep, axis deer, fallow deer, red stag, aoudad sheep and several others. These species are hunted from January to June. Eland and the very rare barasinga deer are hunted in December. We run near 100% success on our exotic hunts.

Spring turkey season runs from April to mid May. Turkey can be hunted as a combo hunt with boar. Our spring turkey hunts run near 100% success.

All of our high country elk combo mule deer hunts have run consistently 80% kill ratio over the past years with a near 100% shot ratio.
