Triangle T Outfitters specializes in fully guided elk and mule deer hunts in the high country of Colorado. The base camp is 37 miles from the nearest paved road. Hunts are guided from a delux tent camp at the elevation of 10,300 feet in the Rio Grand National Forest, which is one mile from the LaGrita Wilderness boundary. The closest spike camp is four hour ride by horseback from the base camp. Camp is spiked into the LaGrita Wilderness. The LaGrita spike camp is bordered by unit 76, unit 76 is a permit draw area only. 4-Wheelers are not permitted in this area, only horseback and foot travel. The horses are gentle and well trained mountain horses and only first class gear is used.

We only book 6 hunters per small season. All hunters in camp are guided 1 guide per 2 hunters.
